Storage fee

How to calculate possible storage fees:

 

Larus Logistics company covers storage fees which that are set AFTER three WORKING days from the moment when the payment is received by the auction. Larus Logistics company does not provide financial services, so the company is not responsible for the speed of funds transfer. You can use your own payment methods. However, take into account that our exchangers can provide more interesting tariffs, since our cooperation is carried out under special conditions.

 

The conditions of storage fee setting. Copart and IAAI.

Copart:

3. After that, scroll the page and select the “Storage Fees”.

4. The table shows two columns depending on the method of winning. Storage fees may be set for weekends and holidays unless it is first three days for online bidding or the first two days for “Buy Now”. To calculate the amount of storage fees, you should take into account the total number of the storage days.

Please not that different locations have different storage fee politics.

5. The term of payment on Copart is 3 business days, including the day of sale. If the payment does not reach Copart by the deadline, late payment penalty will be set ($50).

Compensation for damages during transportation of the vehicle.

COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGES WHEN TRANSPORTING THE VEHICLE

• The risk payment is 1% of the value of each vehicle, including the auction commission.
• The deductible is the amount in hryvnias, which is equivalent to 100 US dollars at the hryvnia equivalent exchange rate according to the National Bank of Ukraine on the day of signing this Disclaimer.
• The amount of damage that does not exceed the specified amount of the deductible is not compensated.
• If additional damage is detected, the payment amount is calculated minus the deductible.
• The company is not responsible for the following damages:

• damages that were not visible in the auction photos at the time of purchase;
• minor chips and scratches that could not be detected in the auction photos;
• damages to the bottom of the vehicle and thresholds of the vehicle;
• damages to vehicle tires and wheels;
• damages that were caused by parts that were improperly and/or incompletely and/or not in factory order attached to the vehicle at the time of purchase;
• damages to the windshield of the vehicle due to the fact that the vehicle was damaged in the front and/or rear part, due to which the locking mechanism of the trunk lid and/or hood was damaged, which impaired the technical functions of the vehicle;
• Scratches and minor damages to the bumpers received during transportation.

• Non-refundable:

• the absence of the ignition key of the vehicle, which was not visible in the photos of the auction;
• the absence of a second vehicle ignition key;
• appearance of fungus and/or mold in the vehicle cabin during transportation;
• the absence of car mats, other accessories;
• the absence of parts that were improperly and/or incompletely and/or not in factory order attached to the vehicle at the time of purchase;

• According to this Disclaimer, compensation for damage, destruction or loss of the vehicle does not apply in the following cases:

• any kind of military actions or military measures and their consequences, as well as as a result of terrorist actions, civil war, civil unrest and strikes, confiscation, requisition, arrest or destruction of a vehicle at the request of military or civil authorities;
• direct or indirect exposure to an atomic explosion, radiation, radioactive radiation or radioactive contamination associated with any use of nuclear energy and the use of fissile materials;
• confiscation, arrest or other seizure carried out by law enforcement or other authorized bodies (customs, border or other) of civil or military authorities;
• misappropriation of vehicle (obtaining ownership of the vehicle) by deception or abuse of trust (fraud), by extortion;
• structural or natural wear and tear of parts, units and units of the vehicle;
• short circuit of electrical wiring and electrical equipment, including if this led to a fire in the vehicle;
• impact of cargo, animals, birds and insects that were in the interior/cabin/body of the vehicle;
• destruction or damage to mechanisms, equipment, engines as a result of their internal damage not caused by external factors, explosions occurring during the work process in internal combustion engines, foreign objects and substances entering the engine or internal cavities of units for any reason;
• water hammer (damage to the vehicle engine caused by water or other liquid entering the engine cylinders through its air filter and subsequent compression of this liquid during engine operation).

• The company does not refund:

• expenses for fuel and lubricants, detergents, filter materials, refueling process fluids and gases, brake pads;
• the cost of repair and maintenance of the vehicle and/or its individual components and parts, which are not specified as grounds for payment;
• the cost of works related to the reconstruction or conversion of the vehicle, repair or replacement of individual parts and equipment due to their wear, technical defects, etc.;
• the cost of additional equipment, not specified in the auction description or other sources of data about the vehicle, and its installation work;
• unjustified costs, namely: the cost of replacement instead of repair of vehicle units and assemblies due to the lack of necessary spare parts and parts for the repair of these units in repair enterprises;
• cost of replaced parts if they can be restored;
• loss of operational qualities of the vehicle;
• loss, theft or damage to decorative wheel caps and vehicle license plates;
• loss, theft or damage of the ignition key(s), charger for electric cars and hybrid cars;
• loss, theft or damage to a set of tools, a fire extinguisher, an emergency stop sign, tires, wheel rims, emblems (logos) of a vehicle, wiper blades, wheel nuts, a jack, a wrench, a spare wheel, and wheel caps, audio equipment, a key;
• The company does not refund any indirect damages, losses and costs, including fines, penalties, lost or unreceived profits/benefits, bank service costs, costs of storing the vehicle on the territory of the penalty area, warehouse, court costs, costs , related to the registration and deregistration of the vehicle, the amount of taxes, fees and other mandatory payments, moral damage, loss of the commercial value of the vehicle.
